Aunque en otros países la fiesta tradicional es el Halloween,en México tenemos una forma única de recordar y honrar a los seres queridos que han muerto, mediante la celebración del Día de Muertos (2 de Noviembre) es tan rica en tradición y cultura popular que en el año 2003 fue denominada "Obra Maestra del Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad", por la UNESCO.Las CATRINAS forman parte importante de esta celebración ya que representan a la muerte en forma de esqueleto de mujer,su maquillaje y vestimenta son parte de las tradiciones de nuestro país y han llamado mucho la atención alrededor del mundo.Disfruten este lookbook de PLANET BLUE.

A veces quisiéramos que la vida fuera de color de rosa,que no hubiera tantos problemas  a nuestro alrededor sin embargo, la realidad es muy diferente y existen algunas cosas que no podemos cambiar.Antes de despedir este mes aprovecho para recordarles algo.

Según las estadísticas, una de cada ocho mujeres tendrá cáncer de mama, una enfermedad que detectada a tiempo no solo es curable, si no que además se puede tratar preservando una buena calidad de vida. Por esto es que en todo el mundo, octubre es un mes dedicado a la sensibilización acerca del cáncer de mama, para estimular la reflexión y la consecuente conducta saludable de consultar al médico.

Before saying good bye to this month,I want to remind you about something very important.

According to statistics, one in eight women will get breast cancer, a disease that not only caught early is curable, but it also can try to preserve a good quality of life.This is why in the world, October is a month dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer, to stimulate thought and healthy behavior consequent to consult the doctor.

Aunque no es para tanto, el frío se está sintiendo un poco más y hay que aprovechar esta excusa para desempolvar la ropa de invierno que tenemos guardada durante todo el año (especialmente en mi país); aquí el frío dura poco y el otoño es una temporada ideal para ponerse las prendas más lucidoras como estas capas que están súper de moda.Son dos propuestas diferentes que me encantan porque se ven muy originales y sustituyen al clásico abrigo,la primera es más formal por su diseño limpio y muy clásico, la segunda es más casual y se distingue por sus estampados como de cobija de ahí el nombre de "blanket coat". Que te parecen estas opciones para el frío de la temporada??

THE LOOK OF CLAUDIA SCHIFFER

Sin duda alguna Claudia Schiffer es una de mis modelos favoritas desde siempre, en sus primeros años como modelo hizo una campaña para GUESS que me impactó cuando la vi (yo era muy pequeña,obvio) eran fotos a blanco y negro,posando como Sofia Loren sin embargo su parecido con Brigitte Bardot era impresionante. Lo que más me gusta de ella es que a pesar de ser una súper modelo,mamá y empresaria (acaba de diseñar una linea de ropa) sigue manteniendo un estilo sencillo y discreto para vestir en su vida diaria (siempre anda muy tapadita), quizás sea porque vive en Inglaterra (donde el clima es muy lluvioso) que tiene este look de otoño que me encanta.Si analizas las fotos puedes ver que siempre lleva con ella 5 cosas básicas : jeans, sweater,  mascadas, lentes de sol y su cafecito de la mañana muy necesario para despertar. Les gustó su estilo??

Hoy les traigo una de las tendencias que más me gusta para esta nueva temporada,las MEDIAS DE COLORES y como seguramente ya las han visto en las tiendas de moda como ZARA , la pregunta  obligada sería ¿como las combino? pues la buena noticia es que no hay ninguna regla a la hora de ponérselas,las pueden llevar con todo lo que quieran si les gusta el color. Sin embargo,para las menos arriesgadas siempre está el infalible color negro o los neutros que son ideales en esta época del año; aquí les dejos unas fotos de las mejores colecciones de la temporada OTOÑO 2011 como FENDI que se lució con sus propuestas no solo de ropa sino de zapatos y accesorios para el cabello (después les hago un resumen).Que les parece esta moda??...
