Aunque lo primero que notamos en la Gala de Nueva York fueron los increíbles vestidos de las actrices y modelos que asistieron, no podemos olvidarnos del pelo y el maquillaje; sin estos dos elementos no estaría completo el look. Gracias a Dios que existen muchas opciones para cada tipo de mujer: rubias,castañas y morenas amamos un buen peinado y un maquillaje que nos haga lucir lo mejor que se pueda. Checa de cerca estas opciones que no parecen tan difíciles de imitar!!

Although the first thing we noticed in the Gala in New York were the amazing costumes of actresses and models who attended, we can not forget the hair and makeup, without these two elements would not be complete the look. Thank God  there are many  options for every type of woman, everyone loves  a natural  style that makes us look the best we can. Check closely at these options,they don´t seem so hard to imitate!!

THE COLORS OF FRIDA KAHLO

Que se puede decir de FRIDA KAHLO que no se haya dicho ya antes, no es necesario ser un conocedor para admirar su talento como pintora además de su historia de amor con Diego Rivera y su personalidad única. Sin duda fue una mujer adelantada a su tiempo en todos sentidos desde su forma de pintar hasta su forma de vestir y de pensar, ella reflejaba su personalidad en todo lo que la rodeaba y su casa es muestra de ello, LA CASA AZUL donde ella vivió es una extensión de su creatividad; llena de color y de objetos mexicanos fue su refugio hasta su muerte. Aunque Frida solo se vestía con trajes típicos mexicanos, amaba los colores intensos como los de estas coloridas piezas de la temporada SS 2011.

What can I say about FRIDA KAHLO that has not already been said before, it is not necessary  to be a connoisseur  to admire her talent as a painter in addition to her love affair with Diego Rivera and her unique personality. It  was certainly  a woman ahead of her time in every  way, from the way she painted, her  dress and  thinking,  she  reflected her personality in everything around her and her house is proof  of  that, THE BLUE HOUSE  where she lived is an extension of her  creativity, painted with colorful tones and decorated with Mexican objects it was her refuge until her death.I don´t think Frida would use designer clothes but I think she´d be attracted by their beautiful colors.

Here is the second part of the PRADA EFFECT review, the good thing about this is that we can see how to mix this femenine style with some other pieces. I post some different pictures from last Paris Fashion Week streetstyle, with the original PRADA pieces and add some great finds from ZARA and MANGO.

THE PRADA EFFECT PART I

I´m sure that you have noticed that everyone got crazy with the PRADA SPRING 2011 collection since it appeared last year during the fashion week in Milan, it was like a rainbow after the rain for our eyes,it just appeared in the right moment; everyone craved for something completely different from the past at the same time the 80´s were so back. It just was the top of the iceberg, the fashion magazines and celebrities did the rest, showing the best of this collection to the world, of course there are only few people who can get this luxury pieces but that is not a problem because stores like ZARA or H&M got the message and they made something similar but much more easy to get!!  Wait for the streetstyle of this collection!!
