THE PRADA EFFECT PART I

I´m sure that you have noticed that everyone got crazy with the PRADA SPRING 2011 collection since it appeared last year during the fashion week in Milan, it was like a rainbow after the rain for our eyes,it just appeared in the right moment; everyone craved for something completely different from the past at the same time the 80´s were so back. It just was the top of the iceberg, the fashion magazines and celebrities did the rest, showing the best of this collection to the world, of course there are only few people who can get this luxury pieces but that is not a problem because stores like ZARA or H&M got the message and they made something similar but much more easy to get!!  Wait for the streetstyle of this collection!!

                                                        

LADY BE GOOD

In México we celebrate Mother´s Day next Tuesday,May 10, that´s why I decided to post this great pictures of super model Amber Valletta and her son Auden, no doubt, she is a beautiful mom as many in the world. It is not easy to be a mom, I have two little monsters at home,Kurt 7 and Axel 5, I adore them and I just want to be the best mom for them but, who knows how to do it??? It is great that moms have an special celebration, who cares about the gifts, as a mom I prefer a big hug,a kiss and a sincere I Love You!!! Happy Mother´s Day!!!

El próximo martes 10 de Mayo celebramos el Día de las Madres en México,por eso decidí poner estas increíbles fotos de una de mis modelos preferidas,Amber Valletta,quién también es una hermosa mamá como tantas en el mundo y aquí lo demuestra posando con su hijo Auden. A mi me parece bien que celebremos este día, yo misma soy mamá de dos pequeños monstruos (Kurt 7 y Axel5) a los que adoro  y para los que quiero ser la mejor mamá pero,alguien sabe como serlo sin morir en el intento??? La verdad los regalos son lo de menos para mi el mejor regalos es una abrazo,un beso y un sincero Te Amo de parte de mis hijos. Feliz Día de las Madres!!!

5 de MAYO!!!

I know that USA and Canada celebrates 5 de Mayo each year. It is a Mexican tradition and  they adopted it because of the latin community that lives and work there; eventhough we don´t have a big party here in México (it is not like Independence Day) I want to send a big ¡¡Viva México!! to my friends and tell them that good Mexicans are much more than the bad ones,we love our country and we are proud to have been born here. Thanks for loving México!!

Este post está dedicado a mis amigos de Estados Unidos y Canadá que celebran el cinco de Mayo, una fiesta originalmente mexicana pero que ellos han adoptado para celebrar a los latinos que viven y trabajan en esos países. Aunque aquí en México no lo festejamos tan en grande (no es como el día de la Independencia o la Revolución Mexicana) quiero mandar un saludo y un ¡¡ Viva México!! a todos los que están allá y como yo aman su país y se sienten orgullosos de haber nacido aquí porque los buenos mexicanos somos más que los malos. Gracias por querer a México!!

TURN THE HEAT OFF PLEASE!!!

Now that the spring arrived the sun heats so hard here in México that looks more like summer to me, the truth is that May/Jun are the hottest months of the year and it is not easy to look fresh and elegant during this days, usually I go for something more casual and easy to wear, I post this Marie Claire photos with the most cool spring pieces wishing some day I can look this good being in the middle of the desert or any other day!!! =)

Ahora que llegó la primavera el calor está pegando con todo aquí en México, parece más como verano para mí, la verdad con este clima es difícil verse fresca y elegante todo el día, la verdad yo prefiero algo cómodo y casual para estos días, especialmente en este mes de mayo que parece ser el mes más caluroso del año. Estas fotos de Marie Claire con las últimas colecciones de primavera 2011 son lo máximo y sería mi sueño poder verme así de bien en medio del calor en el desierto o cualquier otro día!!!=)

THE WEDDING OF THE CENTURY

I don´t know if you watched the wedding of Prince William with Kate Middleton yesterday but I wanted to post some of the best pictures of her dress (designed by Sarah Burton) and also an old picture of him with her mother Lady Di and her brother Harry, it was taken by Mario Testino their favorite photographer. Princess Diana was so beautiful, everyone loved her and her style; she did so much for the poor people, she was a great woman and a lovely mother,this is her legacy for William and Harry.

No se si vieron la boda entre el Príncipe William y Kate Middleton ayer pero aquí les tengo las mejores fotos del vestido de la novia diseñado por Sarah Burton directora creativa de Alexander McQueen y que a mi gusto fue la mejor opción para este importante trabajo porque Kate lucía espectacular!!! También incluí una foto de William con su madre Lady Di y su hermano Harry tomada por Mario Testino; la Princesa Diana era una mujer hermosa e inteligente a la que todos amaban por su estilo y por la ayuda que daba a los más necesitados, este es su legado para sus amados hijos William y Harry.
